888 / Casino On Net / Pacific Poker

Gambling Giant 888 have come in for some heavy stick in recent months, due to the number of sites promoting them, using unorthodox and unethical practices. This includes Site Scraping, which utilises the practice of stealing content of other websites to use as their own and spamming blogs.

Well last week Online Casino Reviewer was left with no choice but to Rogue 888 as a result of their inaction in dealing with this matter.

Rogue Casinos Alert

Due to the breach of contract imposed by several casino affiliate programs Online Casino Reviewer has moved to not recommend all casinos and poker rooms that make up their collective portfolios.

This is a very serious issue for the industry as a whole. This industry as it operates on the internet is faceless and trust is of paramount importance. By changing the terms and conditions that casino webmasters signed up and agreed to, shows that these programs give scant regard to agreements that they have entered into. The view of Online Casino Reviewer is that if the programs can change their T & C's when it suits, it surely won't be long that this spirals down and players at their casinos will be in the firing line.

Casino Portal Webmasters Entering Choppy Waters

Over the last couple of months several reputable leading casino affiliate programs, led by Fortune Affiliates, Vegas Partners Lounge and Wager Junction have embarked on making changes to affiliate terms and conditions retroactively.

These changes are to the detriment of all casino portal webmasters who in the cases of some sites have been promoting casinos and poker rooms for these programs for several years. As a result Online Casino Reviewer has decided to take a public stance on this issue. To read our views on these retroactive changes, then visit our Casino Webmasters page.
